VOTE for your winner of Poppyscotland’s BREAKING NEWS: WAR IS OVER! Learning Competition

22nd March 2019

We are very excited to reveal the shortlisting for our BREAKING NEWS: WAR IS OVER! Learning Competition and announce that voting is now open!

For the latest instalment of our popular annual learning competition, Poppyscotland Learning and STV News invited pupils across Scotland to think about how they would report the end of the First World War if it happened in the modern day.

BREAKING NEWS: WAR IS OVER! Learning Competition received entries from hundreds of pupils which were then judged across two categories – Primary (P4-P7) and Secondary (S1-S3) – by experienced judges from the world of media and news reporting.

Now it is YOUR chance to vote to determine the winner in each category. Who will you choose as your favourite? Winners will receive a special visit to STV News studios, where they will have the opportunity to share their report with STV News anchors and learn how the news is made!

So what are you waiting for? To view shortlisted entries and cast your all-important vote, please visit: http://learning.poppyscotland.org.uk/competition/war-is-over-voting/

Remember, you can only vote for one winner in each category. Voting will close on Sunday 28th April.
