The Ministry of Food was responsible for overseeing rationing and issued every man, woman and child with a ration book.

Did you know that Christie Park Primary School in the Vale of Leven was used as a rest centre for bomb evacuees of the Clydebank Blitz in Glasgow on the 13th and 14th of March 1941?
